Changer is shaping the future of video content creation and helping build the Creator Economy. We run a series of world-first creator initiatives, in partnership with YouTube and other leading organisations, helping to develop the next generation of video creator talent.

We help creators at all stages from YouTubers with tens of millions of subscribers to those about to hit upload for the very first time.

As a Community & Programs Manager, you will support and grow Changer’s global creator community by developing and managing relationships with creators, collaborating with external partners, finding new areas of opportunity for creators, and managing Changer’s creator programs and events.

This role is full-time. This role can be remote or based out of our Brisbane or Melbourne, Australia locations where we have a hybrid WFH-office model.

What will you do?

In this role you will help Changer accelerate the growth and engagement of our global creator community. You will:

  • Grow, manage & connect an engaged creator community
  • Manage relationships with creators and their representatives
  • Support, develop & deliver creator education and community programs
  • Support the development, promotion, and execution of Changer’s online and in-person creator events
  • Assist with new strategic partnership opportunities
  • Collect and organize feedback from creators
  • Constantly look for ways to deliver value to the creator community

We're looking for someone who

  • Has a passion for creators and wants to build something valuable to the creator economyLoves helping others grow
  • Loves helping others grow
  • Proven community building experience
  • Broad experience in most marketing fundamentals, including acquisition, product marketing, engagement, growth and brand
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (paid & organic)
  • Has a good balance of right brain (relationship-building) and left brain (analytics)
  • A proven track record of developing a communications strategy and putting it into action
  • Strong written communication & visual asset creation skills
  • Fluent in Google Suite, such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Slides, etc.

Nice to have

  • Experience as a Creator (any platform and any format: video, photos, audio, written words etc)
