Our headcount is now 50 strong, made up of an eclectic mix of designers, developers, strategists, copywriters, and technologists spread across Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Los Angeles, New York City, and Mexico. As a team, we’ve innovated, branded, rebranded, and strategized around emerging and existing technologies that are shaping our collective future. Clients span a wide range of industries, everything from world-leading record labels to new technologies, and the futures of agtech, fintech, and sex tech. Our growth trajectory means we’re looking to appoint Social & Content Coordinator in our Brisbane office.

What is this role?

As a key member of our marketing team, you will provide the incredibly important execution (and ideation!) layer on our initiatives. Our work is all well and good when it’s done, but it’s that much stronger when it is promoted to new and existing audiences, and that’s where you come in. You are a thoughtful partner in dreaming up ways to market, distribute, and share our work, culture, and values with our broader community, and work collaboratively with your JM teammates to ensure our content marketing processes run smoothly.

You will strengthen the Josephmark brand equity and market share through delivering targeted, creative and high-impact, marketing, and communications, such as executing on social media and writing blog posts.

What a typical day for a Social & Content Coordinator at Josephmark looks like:

  • Collaborate with designers and content writers to create, schedule, and publish content across our primary channels (Instagram, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Execute day-to-day communication, including proactive/reactive engagement with trending topics, partners, and our community
  • Surface relevant social media updates and identify unique content opportunities
  • Help manage social listening and reporting, and propose ways to optimize our content
  • Work with our content and BD teams to ensure we’re getting the right content in front of the right audiences

What you will bring to the table:

  • An obsession with social content, popular trends, creativity, and creative culture
  • Experience with Figma, Miro and Pitch
  • Experience with Google Apps - presentation decks, documents and spreadsheets
  • Experience with Float and Notion
  • Ability to communicate in an entertaining social voice
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knack for writing social copy in planned and unplanned moments
  • Eye for design and an understanding of brand aesthetics
  • Proficient in developing and editing social content in Figma
  • Organized and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • 2-4 years of experience managing social for a brand or at an agency

This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary, equity and flexible working hours. We prefer this position to be in close proximity to our LA satellite office but are open to fully remote applicants who can align with LA (PST) time and for cross-collaboration projects, Brisbane (AEST) time zones.
